Revolution!

New obsession: Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution.

Jamie Oliver is an inspiration. After finding success in transforming the British school lunch program, he’s taken on the USA, starting in Huntington, West Virginia, which was recently said to be the unhealthiest town in America. The show tracks his efforts to bring healthy, real food to school lunches in Huntington and inspire the community to turn the tide on the eating habits that are killing their families. He was recently awarded the TED Prize for his work. Watch this TED Talk; it’s awesome.

In honor of our new favorite Brit, last night’s dinner was two from JO’s Naked Chef cookbook. The recipes don’t seem to be online, but they’re great, simple, and fresh tasting. Plus, now I can say that I’ve prepped artichokes. Have you?
