Ghee wiz

Tonight we took a trip to India, with our tour guide, my boyfriend, Tyler Florence. (Well, okay, the Food Network version of India.) And yes, made the ghee from scratch. (It’s just melted butter + patience.) This turned out very well, paired nicely with some brown basmati rice, salad, and King Estate Pinot Noir (Signature 2007). Not terribly spicy or heavy, just a wonderful blend of flavors.

Got some ghee leftover… let’s see what we can do with that…
